It started on the block.
Mo' Betta Bleuz was born from a real story — a childhood shaped by a working mother, a grandmother named Lulu who held everything together, and a neighborhood that raised its children as one. That story became a book, and the book became a movement.
Today, the Bridging the Block movement includes a nonprofit serving families through community events, health fairs, literacy, and mentoring; Mo' Betta Bleuz LLC, our school consulting firm; the Bridging the Block book series; Bridging the Block Live; and the annual Bridging the Block Summit.
